The ENTRIA conference 2017 will take place in Braunschweig, about 60km east of Hannover, in the Steigenberger Parkhotel.
Braunschweig is the second largest city in Lower Saxony. It is also home of the Technische Universität Braunschweig, which participates with three institutes in ENTRIA. Furthermore Braunschweig literally „sets the time“: The Caesium Atomic Clock at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt is the legal reference for all time designations in Germany.
You can directly reach Braunschweig via car over the highway A2. There is also a fast train connection via Intercity-Express (ICE). The closest international airport is the Hannover Airport.
